VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS AND SERVICE TRIPS
A life changing experience!
An opportunity to make a difference by working in groups with non-governmental organizations that do Social and Environmental projects throughout Brazil. These programs are open to high school, college and corporate groups.
Being a volunteer means having the opportunity to engage in programs that blend personal growth, intercultural exchange and self-fulfillment through real, “hands-on” activities in amazing environments.
Our programs concentrate on the UN-defined “Global Critical Issues” that are present in the country.
Duration
Short-term, ranging from 1 to 3 weeks, for a minimum of 12 participants.
Programs can run all year around.

Accommodation
During the program, participants may live with a Brazilian host family, in a hostel, lodge or even in hammocks in specially prepared boats, depending on the selected project.
All the possibilities are excellent ways to learn about the Brazilian way of life and to practice Portuguese. Brazilians have a reputation for being warm and fun-loving, making it easy for the group to integrate in a short time.
Program Sites
Bluerivers has established and developed close relationships with non-governmental and independent organizations all over the country, resulting in appealing volunteer project possibilities where participants can really add and make a difference. Each project is selected based on the group´s interests to make the best possible match.
